Pedagogical Overview
My mission is to get students to think, to ask questions, to gain confidence in their own abilities to discover. Ultimately, the take away for students is to gain confidence in their own intellectual pursuits, that they can learn anything they do not know, at any time they want, and to convey their findings to anyone, anywhere. That’s the making of super heroes. Below are links demonstrating my pedagogical approaches.
The “Syllabi” contains a few schedules indicating what students are expected to read on a weekly basis. The “Lecture Series” link is new, a creation of my online World History courses. These lectures use data extracted the same primary documents I assigned for the week. As I wish to keep these lectures short, 20-minutes or less, the length of these lectures are no more than 1,200-words. “Practices” is a blog series where I will occasionally share successful tips and invite other scholars to share as well. If you have a pedagogical tip you wish to share, just let me know and we will get you posted.
